gib mal bei google "Aqualung Vinyl 2009" ein, dann findest Du Händler,
Preise schwanken zwischen 50-100 Euro

The Classic Records reissue of Aqualung was cut from the original analog master tapes obtained from Ian Anderson on Classic's "all tube" cutting system by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman mastering. This version features, for the first time since the original Chrysalis release, an authentic faux linen textured gatefold jacket and original label art. Now Available on 45rpm as a Four Disc Box Set, pressed on Classic’s Clarity 200g Super Vinyl Profile this will be the definitive version - period!
Production notes:
Clarity Vinyl represents the ultimate in vinyl formulations because it is comprised of over 90% percentage of the highest quality co-polymer available - a key component in vinyl pellets used for manufacturing vinyl records. Further, Clarity Vinyl has no carbon black additive, common in vinyl formulas for LP’s. Carbon Black contains trace metals that become magnetized and cause “electrical distortions” in cartridges during playback that smears the sound. By taking out the Carbon Black, Classic Records is able to dramatically reduce the “electrical distortions” and thus bring more “Clarity” to the playback process, providing a more realistic musical experience to the listener and LP enthusiast.

Ja, genau: themusic.com - da hab ich die her (und mir noch ne Peter Gabriel Encore Series CD aus Mexiko mitbestellt). Das ist eine wirklich sehr nette Box, da kann man nix sagen. Schon gar nicht beim aktuellen Dollarkurs.

Mmmh, ich kann mir unter der "Box" noch nix richtiges vorstellen - kann mich jemand noch mal detaillierter aufklären? Bisher habe ich rausgelesen, dass die Aqualung-LP auf 4 Scheiben aufgeteilt ist (pro Originalseite 2 Platten?), einseitig bespielt, mit 45rpm abspielbar. Irgendwie alles im original-Cover. Dann ist allerdings von "Box" die Rede. Besteht die "Box" aus dem Klapp-Cover oder ist da mehr dabei? Songaufteilung vermute ich: 1: Aqualung, Cross-eyed mary 2: Cheap day return, M. Goose, W. aloud, Up to me, 3. My God, H 43, 4. Slipstream, L. Breath, Wind up (?).
Für Detail-Infos wäre ich sehr dankbar.

HansJuergen, Du hast es eigentlich schon richtig erkannt. 4x12" 180g, je einseitig bespoielt und das Foldout-Cover sind dann in eine LP große Box gepackt. Songaufteilung krieg ich grad aus dem Kopf nicht hin ...

Die Box hat sich preislich übrigens tatsächlich ganz gut weiter entwickelt, da hätte ich mir damals besser zwei gelauft
